Workforce

A STEM-literate workforce is critical to Southern Arizona’s economic health and development. The resources presented here will not only help employers connect with STEM students but also better understand the STEM landscape in education and employment. Additionally, we offer paths for employers to connect with the UA and other stakeholders to help the vision for STEM learning in our region.
Internships Guides & Information

When employers and STEM-literate students connect through internships, both sides win: Students gain knowledge and new skills in a real-work environment while employers benefit not just from additional help but also fresh perspective and, often, specialized knowledge.
