Educator Open House—Saturday, May 13th, 11am-3pm
UA Sky School will be hosting an open house for families of K-12 students and educators—teachers, principals, homeschoolers, etc.—to introduce you to our educational programs. We feature outdoor scientific inquiry rooted in a strong sense of place. Hands-on activities, campus tours, telescope viewing, and a short hike will introduce you to the rich environment of our campus at the summit of Mt. Lemmon. Join the staff of the Mt. Lemmon SkyCenter and the UA Sky School to experience all the great programming we have to offer. Look through our 32” Schulman and 24” Phillips telescopes, see the sun through a solar telescope, learn about Catalina Sky Survey, engage in hands-on science activities for all ages, take a short guided hike on the Meadow Loop Trail, tour our historical campus, and much more!
